Welcome fellow explorer!
I am Kristóf Regényi, a young Hungarian biologist and the creator of Wildlife Quest Expeditions.
Ever since I can remember, my whole life is permeated by the love of wildlife. Growing up watching the extraordinary documentaries of David Attenborough definitely deepened my passion for nature. During my studies I volunteered and worked in different zoos to gain experience in working with wild animals. I even wrote my thesis about animal behaviour. However, this was not enough for me, I had to see these amazing animals in the wild with my own eyes. By now I have had the chance to visit some of the special wildlife destinations of our planet, and it had such a huge impact on me, that I decided I would like to share it with others.
My goal with Wildlife Quest Expeditions is to give the best chance for other wildlife enthusiasts to meet these wonderful creatures in the wild. There are lots of tour companies out there offering luxurious travel opportunities to see wild animals, however most of the time these companies prioritise the luxury part of the travel over wildlife watching opportunities, offering a very limited time for this activity, or only in a very low quality. This is because of the more mainstream travellers, who of course outnumber the people who really want to immerse in the wild and contact with nature. This website is for them, the people who were dreaming about observing these animals in the wild all their lives.
I visited every wildlife location I advertise here on the website, and I was satisfied with every offered lodge located in those areas. I chose these lodges because their location and/or their offered services really helped me to find the rare creatures of the wild. It is not my intention to make a huge profit out of these expeditions, rather to help others who are also interested in wild animals, and to support my future travels to other wildlife destinations which I have not seen before. Later, if I find the new location worth visiting, it would be also offered here on the website for wildlife lovers.
